JULY 1991: PATIENT 1
S.P. AGED 22 MALE CAUCASIAN Patient was in the army, aged 19 years. Stress related possibility. Hair sparse. Hairline receeding and thinning on top. Patient started treatment 3 times a week with the product Hair Fantastique. s Wonder Hair Treatment, to be applied after washing with Gentle Touch shampoo. Left overnight and rinsed off only with water in the morning. AUGUST 1991: Hair less dry and scalp is far better, hair loss slowed down. SEPTEMBER 1991: Hair loss has diminished to normal. Visible new hairs on the hairline. OCTOBER 1991: Strong hairs appearing on the scalp. Uses lotion as a hair groom and does not rinse it off. No toxic effects caused by this. No scalp irritation at all. Definite improvement. NOVEMBER 1991: Patient now showing visible hair growth
throughout the thinning area of about 1mm. Normal hair growth cycle on
healthy hair very much accelerated. DIAGNOSIS: ALOPECIA Started losing hair at the age of 11 years. Very sparse hair. Loses hair daily. On examination no scalp disorder. Patient on Wonder Hair Treatment to be used 3 times a week in conjunction with Gentle Touch Shampoo. AUGUST 1991: Hair quality better and the hair loss has slowed down. SEPTEMBER 1991: Patient noticed improvement in hair loss and says the hair loss has decreased. Small fine hairs appearing on the scalp, patient. s hair colour is light brown. OCTOBER 1991: Hair growth is much stronger and colour of new hair matches existing hairs. NOVEMBER 1991: Head now covered with regrowth. Hair seems to be growing very fast and thicker in texture. DECEMBER 1991: Noticeable hair growth, hair now 2cm long and very healthy, colour is good. JANUARY 1992: Patient to come every 2 months.
Regrowth difficult to distinguish from existing hair, condition good. PATIENT 5: (B.P.) MALE 19
YEARS (STUDENT) AUGUST 1991: Hair much healthier. SEPTEMBER 1991: Hair loss diminished and new hair growth along hairline and on top there are strong new hairs growing. 1.5mm growth. Using product every night. Patient. s scalp less tense. OCTOBER 1991: Hair growth process very steady now and hairline growing more rapidly, hairline more solid and growing further forward. DECEMBER 1991: Regrowth progress on existing hair still very good and new hairs visible. JANUARY 1992: Regrowth continuing to gain length. Hair condition good. MARCH 1992: Using Wonder Hair Treatment twice weekly.
Regrowth indistinguishable from old hair, condition of hair good. Hair
loss rate normal. No side effects experienced. PATIENT 6: (R.G.) MALE 30
YEARS OLD Patient has small patch on crown and hair receding from front, also has mild dandruff. Hair root bulb very small with evidence of protein malnutrition. Will treat with Wonder Hair Treatment and Anti-Dandruff shampoo. AUGUST 1991: Patient. s dandruff cleared up. Scalp is clean. Patient is still experiencing hair loss. Hair condition has improved. SEPTEMBER 1991: Hair loss slowed. No signs of hair growth on back bald patch, but finding "fluff" as he calls it on top of the head and in front. Condition of hair has improved. No dandruff present. OCTOBER 1991: Hair growth appearing on the front and top and patch at the crown appears smaller as new hairs are appearing around existing hair area. 1.5mm of growth on top, very slow growth but positive. Hair loss normal and no dandruff. NOVEMBER 1991: Progress slow, more new hair on hairline and on top and small new fluffy hairs on back patch. Patch also getting smaller. FEBRUARY 1992: Patient experienced no side effects. MARCH 1992: New hairs found on bald patch at the back. Regrowth areas are about 3cm in length and bald patch at the back is half the size. The new fine hairs at the back have become darker and thicker. APRIL 1992: Patient showing improvement, though not as
rapidly as with younger patients. Hair condition good, no side effects
experienced.
PATIENT 7: (MALE) 23 YEARS
OLD ETHNIC AUGUST 1991: Patient returned with clear scalp and neck. Patient will use Anti-Dandruff shampoo when necessary, but start hair growth treatment, Wonder Hair Treatment in conjunction with Gentle Touch Shampoo, 3 times a week. SEPTEMBER 1991: Patient returned with 2 patches of alopecia area that were starting to show slight improvement, no change on other 2. Scalp was no longer itching and no burning on scalp. OCTOBER 1991: Hair now starting to appear on patches. Scalp still clear of dandruff and also continuous use of the Anti-Dandruff shampoo on his neck has cleared the problem. NOVEMBER 1991: Patient showing very rapid improvement, patches covering over and general hair growth much stronger. Texture of entire head of hair has improved and is less dry and much stronger. DECEMBER 1991: Patient. s alopecia patches have filled in and told to continue. APRIL 1992: Patient has continued treatment. No evidence
of alopecia areata or dandruff. No side effects.
PATIENT 12: (A.G.) MALE 30
YEARS OLD JULY 1991: Patient has been losing hair at the crown for the past one and a half years. Prescribed the use of Wonder Hair Treatment in conjunction with the Gentle Touch Shampoo. AUGUST 1991: Patient experiencing less hair loss when washing his hair. Hair condition is good and appears strong. No signs of any new hair growth on the crown. SEPTEMBER 1991: On examination of the crown small fine hairs are now visible. Scalp still clearly visible, hair condition good. OCTOBER 1991: Regrowth on the crown increasing. Regrowth appears to be gaining length and thickening. NOVEMBER 1991: Regrowth is now covering patch at the crown. Scalp is still slightly visible. Regrowth is approximately 2.5mm in length. DECEMBER 1991: Scalp barely visible. Patient to make two monthly visits. FEBRUARY 1992: Vast improvement since the patient. s last
visit. The patch at the crown is now completely covered and the scalp is
no longer visible at all. Patient to continue using produce and requires
no further visits. No side effects.
PATIENT 14: (W.R.) MALE AGE
27 YEARS JULY 1991: Patient has suffered hair loss for the past 5 years and an occasional dandruff problem. Prescribed the use of Anti-Dandruff shampoo to clear the scalp and the use of Wonder Hair Treatment in conjunction with Gentle Touch Shampoo. AUGUST 1991: On examination found patient. s scalp to be clear of dandruff. No signs of any new growth as yet. General hair condition good. SEPTEMBER 1991: Patient experienced some itching at the crown. On examination discovered slight new growth in that area. Scalp still clean but no visible signs of regrowth anywhere else on the head. OCTOBER 1991: Regrowth on the crown seems to be thickening. Found regrowth in patches all over the rest of the head. No sign of regrowth at the hairline. NOVEMBER 1991: Patient. s regrowth is gaining length. New fine hairs found all over scalp as well as at the hairline. No dandruff. DECEMBER 1991: New hair now showing on hairline, now clearly visible. Hairline also appears to be closing. Colour of regrowth on the rest of the head is good and hair generally appears to be thicker and feels stronger. Patient to visit in 2 months. FEBRUARY 1992: Hair growth now gaining good length. Hairline filled in nicely, although hair still fine in those specific areas. APRIL 1992: Remarkable difference in
general hair appearance. Scalp no longer visible. Hairline hairs have
taken on natural colour and texture. Patient will now continue use of
Wonder Hair Treatment on his own. No side effects other than early
itching. PATIENT 15: (B.F.) MALE AGE
42 JULY 1991: Patient has had a receding hairline and balding on top for the past 7 years. Prescribed the use of the Wonder Hair Treatment in conjunction with Gentle Touch Shampoo. AUGUST 1991: General condition of the hair is very good. New fine hairs found on the top of the head. SEPTEMBER 1991: New hair growth found all over the scalp. Regrowth still very fine and colour still quite pale compared with remainder of hair. OCTOBER 1991: Patient. s regrowth now of good colour and slowly gaining good length. Regrowth is clearly visible all over the scalp. NOVEMBER 1991: Existing hair has also grown at a rapid date. Patient to make next visit in only three months. FEBRUARY 1992: Patient. s scalp is
now completely covered with new hairs. Hair is still short but the scalp
is well covered. Patient to continue the use of the product himself. No
ill effects noticed. PATIENT 16: (A.E.) MALE . AGE
49 JULY 1991: Patient has been thinning on the crown for the past three years. Hair is dull and lifeless. Recommended the use of Wonder Hair Treatment in conjunction with Gentle Touch Shampoo; AUGUST 1991: No visible change to the hair, although the hair condition has improved. SEPTEMBER 1991: Condition of the patient. s hair has shown definite improvement, no new hair growth is visible. OCTOBER 1991: No new hair growth. Also suggested making use of Wonder Hair Treatment seven days a week instead of three times weekly. NOVEMBER 1991: Experiencing itchiness on the crown. Still no visible signs of hair growth. DECEMBER 1991: Fine growth on the crown is present. FEBRUARY 1992: Crown is now completely covered with fine new hair growth. Scalp still slightly visible. Colour of the regrowth matches existing hair and the hair is strong. MARCH 1992: Regrowth on the crown
now gaining length and strong. Scalp is now hardly visible. Patient to
continue using the product on his own. No side effects observed other than
the early itchiness of the scalp. PATIENT 19: (P.F.) MALE . AGE
34 JULY 1991: Patient developed a patch about a year ago and has a large bald patch on the left side of his head. Wonder Hair Treatment in conjunction with Gentle Touch Shampoo. AUGUST 1991: A few fine hairs appearing on the bald patch. SEPTEMBER 1991: patient has new growth on patch but the regrowth is still regionalised and the rest of the patch is still bare. OCTOBER 1991: Regrowth is gaining length, but the regrowth is still regionalised and there are signs of regrowth on the rest of the patch. NOVEMBER 1991: Patient still has no response on the rest of the patch. However area of growth increasing in length. DECEMBER 1991: Patient still has no new growth on the rest of the patch. FEBRUARY 1992: Very fine hairs on the rest of the scalp. Initial regrowth is still gaining good length and is very good in colour. APRIL 1992: Patient is experiencing slower growth rate on
the secondary regrowth on the patch, although the regrowth is clearly
visible. No side effects noted.
PATIENT
21: (T.R.) MALE AGE 29 JULY 1991: Patient has been suffering hair loss for 3 years. Prescribed the use of Anti-Dandruff Shampoo to clear the scalp and the use of Wonder H Hair Treatment in conjunction with Gentle Touch Shampoo. AUGUST 1991: No signs of any new growth as yet. General hair condition good. No dandruff. SEPTEMBEDR 1991: Patient experienced a bit of itchiness on the crown. On examination discovered slight new growth at crown. No visible signs of regrowth anywhere else on the head. OCTOBER 1991: Regrowth on the crown seems to be gaining length. New regrowth appearing in patches all over the rest of the head. No sign of regrowth at the hairline. No longer itching. NOVEMBER 1991: Patient. s regrowth of hair is gaining length. New fine hairs found all over scalp as well as at the hairline. DECEMBER 1991: New hair showing at hairline. Colour of regrowth on the rest of the head is good, thick and feels stronger. Patient to visit in 2 months. FEBRUARY 1992: Hair growth now gaining good length. Hairline filling in nicely. APRIL 1992: Scalp no longer visible. Hairline hairs are
of natural colour and texture. No side effects other than itching
noted.
PATIENT
22: (F.A.) MALE AGED 32 JULY 1991: Patient has been suffering from hair loss and balding for 5 years. Prescribed the use of the Wonder Hair Treatment in conjunction with Gentle Touch Shampoo. AUGUST 1991: Condition of the hair is good. No new hairs found on the scalp. SEPTEMBER 1991: New hair growth found all over the scalp. Regrowth still very fine and colour still quite pale. OCTOBER 1991: Patient. s regrowth now of good colour and slowly gaining good length. NOVEMBER 1991: Growth is gaining good length. Patient to make next visit in only two months. JANUARY 1992: Patient. s balding areas are now completely covered with new hairs. Hair is still gaining length. Patient to visit in two months. MARCH 1992: Regrowth gaining good length and the colour
and texture is good. No side effects noted.
PATIENT
26: (F.I.) MALE AGE 24 YEARS JULY 1991: Patient developed these patches about two years ago. Prescribed Wonder Hair Treatment in conjunction with gentle Touch shampoo. AUGUST 1991: A few fine hairs appearing on the bald patches. SEPTEMBER 1991: Patient has new growth on patches. The growth is very fine. The rest of the hair appears to be in good condition. OCTOBER 1991: Regrowth is gaining length, but the regrowth is still very fine but the colour is good and the hairs feel strong and look healthy. NOVEMBER 1991: Patient. s scalp still visible at the patches. However, new hairs are gaining length and appear thicker. DECEMBER 1991: Patient new growth on the patch is gaining good length. Recommend that the patient come in two months time for his next visit. FEBRUARY 1991: Scalp is now finally no longer visible and the new growth has gained length. Colour is the same as existing hair. APRIL 1991: Colour of the regrowth is completely normal
and the texture is good. No side effects noted.
PATIENT 27 : (G.D.) MALE .
AGE 19 JULY 1991: Patient has experienced excessive hair loss over the past 2 years. Prescribed the use of Wonder Hair Treatment in conjunction with gentle Touch Shampoo. AUGUST 1991: The condition of his hair has improved, hair loss still occurring. SEPTEMBER 1991: Patient. s hair loss has slowed down to normal. Condition of the hair is excellent. Fine new hairs are clearly visible at the crown. OCTOBER 1991: New hairs appearing all over the scalp in between the existing hair and the general condition of the hair appears to be thicker. Regrowth at the crown is gaining good length. Fine new hairs are evident at the hairline. NOVEMBER 1991: Patient. s hairline is starting to fill in. The regrowth at the hairline is still very fine. At the crown, the new growth is gaining length and the scalp is no longer visible. DECEMBER 1991: The new growth at the hairline is now becoming thicker and the colour is completely normal. FEBRUARY 1992: Patient. s hair condition is excellent. The
hairline growth has gained good length as has the growth on the crown. No
side effects experienced. PATIENT 28 : (W.R.) MALE
